How about creating a subforum destined to the members to participate of RPG-style adventures?
Not too many worries like an real RPG, the poster only goes there, create an new adventure (giving an introduction, prefereably not too long) and whose who wants to participate goes there too and post their actions (prefereably also not too long and taking it easy, of course, nothing like "A lighting bolt falls over all of you and It's finished" ^^)
Then, the poster who has created the adventure can guide it to an end when when he/she thinks convenient.
